The truth is, I wasn't very sure about the career I chose, but recently some classes have taught me to love what I'm studying and to know how I can develop as a professional, so in this blog I will mention two of my favorite subjects and the because of this.   I really like "Workshop 1: what to do as an anthropologist" this since it shows the different fields of work that we can have as archaeologists or anthropologists and since my area of interest is botany, fauna, animals and indigenous peoples, it helps me to dimension how can I be in the future, in addition to this it made me more sure of my decision, since you can see and verify how through this study I can reach what excites me.   Another subject that I really like is "formation of modern society" this, since I feel that the class is super effusive and invites us to think much more than what is established in society, it makes us question everything we know and many times I have more doubts than answe

I believe that English is fundamental for the professions today, since it is the universal language and many times as students or professionals we will find the information we need in English, so we will need to learn it in a good way to have more complete investigations, In the same way, the occasion may arise when we are asked to speak in English and thus be able to form a dialogue. It is with all this in mind that we consider that having English at the university is super good and in this way to be able to have a more academic English where we can interact in a more formal way and understand the technicalities that are presented to us, in the same way it helps us to practice those elements that still cost us and to be able to develop better.  Personally, I feel that I have an intermediate level in English, since I am good at listening, reading and understanding, but things are difficult for me when I have to speak or write, since my mind collapses and I cannot put words together. I think I would like to specialize in underwater archaeology, since I can directly relate to my love for the ocean and everything it can teach you, plus the discovery of these civilizations lost in time and in physical spaces on earth, which In this case, they are underwater, so it is not exactly the same study as that of an archaeologist who discovers an ancestral people on land, since although they share the same bases, they have to use their knowledge in different ways, in different spaces and with different materiality, in addition to this I think that in some way I will always try to reach the study of nature and the  aborigines , for which having this specialization would make me very happy as a professional. In the same way, I would like to have other specializations and one of them is  archaeobotany , which It deals mainly with the characteristics of plants and their different uses in civilizations.
